Making a Purchase
Making a purchase on-line is easy. Just browse our on-line Shop. Click on any items that you wish to buy, choose your design where applicable and add your choice to the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on "Buy Now" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. We also deliver to BFPO addresses, please see below.
On-line orders have a limit of £250 excluding postage costs; should your order exceed this amount, please contact us.
Our web site will not let you place an order for an item that we don't currently have in stock. Should a design be out of stock it will not appear within the design listing for that product.
We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, Maestro/Switch and Delta. You will be charged in GBP Pounds. If you are shopping from Ireland or within the EU your bank or credit card company will convert the transaction to Euros on your statement. Charges to your credit card will appear as "Haptic Ltd".
While we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.
We will not charge for any item unless it is available to send to you. Your on-line card payments over the internet are processed by WorldPay. Alternatively you may provide your credit card information by phone, fax or post.
We deliver to BFPO addresses and we request that you complete the delivery section as follows:
- Forename: Service Number
- Surname: Rank, Name
- Address: Company
- Address(optional): Leave blank
- Town or City: Regiment
- County: Leave blank
- Postcode: BFPO ### (eg: BFPO 456)
- Country: United Kingdom
Security
haptic's on-line store is hosted by one of the UK's leading e-commerce provider on secure servers. This gives you peace of mind when ordering goods from the site that your credit card details and any other information is totally safe. Our servers use 128 bit encryption which is the highest level of security available on any e-commerce site.
Postage & Packing
Our Standard Delivery charge to UK and Irish addresses is £3.95 per order. Please note that offshore destinations may incur an additional surcharge - we will let you know first!
haptic aims to provide a fast delivery service. Most items will be despatched within 24 hours of ordering and should reach you within 2-3 working days (7-10 days Ireland). In most cases, items are despatched using Royal Mail First Class post. Please note that this time excludes orders placed over weekends and Bank Holidays.
Delivery times to BFPO addresses may vary dependant upon BFPO schedules.
Returns and Refunds
We expect you to be delighted with your purchase. If for some reason you are not you are welcome to return goods in a re-saleable condition within 28 days of receipt for an exchange or a full refund. Refunds are processed within 7 working days of the return of goods.
In the unlikely event of your goods arriving in a damaged or faulty condition we will replace your goods or issue a refund if you prefer - please let us know by email straight away.
haptic's extra guarantees are in addition to your statutory rights as a consumer.
Cancelling your Order
The UK's Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations allow you to cancel your contract within seven working days from receipt of goods.
To cancel your contract please write to Customer Services, haptic ltd, PO Box 3648, Wells, BA5 2ZW or send an email to web-orders@haptic.co.uk with the order number and your instruction to cancel or call our Customer Service line on: 01749 672437.
If your order has already been despatched, you must repackage the relevant items and return them in a re-saleable condition to haptic Ltd. If we do not receive the item back from you we may arrange for collection of the item from your residence at your cost. We will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that order as soon as possible and in any case within 30 days after we receive your notification.
Taxes
All prices include 17.5% VAT where applicable. This is chargeable on all orders placed within the EU. For orders originating outside the EU this amount will be deducted from the cost of the goods. For more information please e-mail web-orders@haptic.co.uk
Customs Charges
If you are ordering goods for delivery outside of the UK, please note that your order may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the goods reach the country of destination. Any such charges levied in relation to customs clearance must be borne by you. It is accepted by you that haptic ltd has no control or responsibility over additional charges in relation to customs clearance. haptic ltd recommend that you check with your customs office or post office for further information regarding importation taxes and duty that may be applicable to your order. You will be the importer and therefore responsible for paying any such taxes, duty or clearance charges.
Privacy Statement
haptic is committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We aim to safeguard the privacy of our users while providing the highest quality of service.
Our systems collect address and buying information at the point of order so that we may process your order and provide you with the best possible service.
We will never collect information about you without your explicit consent. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly. The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with UK or EU legislation.
It is not our policy to share your information or names with other companies.

Copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights, protect the content of the haptic.co.uk site. You may retrieve and display the content of the haptic.co.uk site on a computer screen, store such content in electronic form on disc or print copies of such content for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided you keep intact all and any copyright and proprietary notices. You may not otherwise reproduce, modify, copy or distribute or use for commercial purposes any of the material or content on the haptic.co.uk site without written permission from haptic ltd.
